Intro to Action Script

As we started to cover some of these in class, I realize how important they are. I also realize that I wished we learned some of this in the Gaming one but that may have put way too much on beginners of Flash. Action Script is really important for flash and essential for any game. Action Script tells the program what to do and how to do it to help make the game better. There is really no way to have a working game with out Action Script. With out Action Script the game will not function correctly and there will not be any player interaction. I just wished that it wasn’t that easy to mix up in the codes. But when there is a mistake it is usually just it is missing a symbol or it has a misspelled word. I have learned the more you play with the codes the more you know and the more you will know how to fix it. I think action Script is hard and hard to read because at first it is like looking at a foreign language. I think if more of the common action codes would be introduced or some what introduced in the first gaming class because students can learn and have more ideas on their games. Or at least have something better for their game at the end of the semester to have a better presentation then they would have.
